Holiday/Chanukah/Christmas CD LISTING -- we are looking for song submissions for a contemporary Holiday/Chanukah/Christmas CD with 10-12 tracks. We're open to a variety of genres, including instrumental, modern classical, smooth jazz, blues, gospel, celtic, contemporary etc.  However, the arrangements should have a certain "holiday feel" to them.

Lyrics should be inspirational and contain a strong storyline. They should not be overly theological in language, instead telling a heartwarming Christmas / Chanukah story in simple words. Songs containing mild humor will also be considered.

Musically, the approach should be warm and passionate. We are accepting original compositions as well as creative covers of public domain compositions from the Chanukah/Christmas holiday traditions. Excellent performances on the demos are necessary.

This project is targeted for publication  in September 2010. Promotion and marketing is planned to start in October and will  include direct sales on our online resource and subscription sites (JavaCasa.com/ DesperatePreacher.com), internet/email marketing and a mid-sized radio promotion campaign.

Our contracts offer the music industry's standard publishing and distribution arrangements.  All composers will receive a complimentary copy of the CD.
 
Submissions must be received no later than January 31, 2010.
